How do Pink Utilities make money?

Pink Utilities earn money through the commissions paid by the energy suppliers. We offer our services free of charge to you.

Who is my contract with?

Your contract for your energy is between you and the supplier. Pink Utilities provides you with a tool to search for energy contracts and to handle the start of the contract process.

Do I need to sign a contract with Pink Utilities?

No but we will ask you sign a letter of authority which allows Pink Utilities to act on your behalf. This helps with talking to the utility companies on your behalf. You can find more information on this in our process section.

My business is relocating, what do I need to do?

Call us and we will ge to work on sourcing the best deal for you. We would need to know the full address and if you have a current supplier or a bill that would be helpful but we can still help you.

What is the rollover trap?

If you fail to give notice at the correct time to your energy supplier, they’ll move you to their standard rates. These are always more expensive, sometimes they are considerably more expensive, and they’ll often be rates you can’t get out of for a substantial period of time. Hence the ‘trap’.

What makes it even harder is that you’ll have different notice periods, falling due on different dates, for different electricity and gas meters. With Pink Utilities managing your contracts, you’ll be reminded at the correct time, and offered new deals that are the best available.
